He has provided translation consulting services to some of the largest corporations in the world, including DaimlerChrysler, SAP and Sun Microsystems, and is a member of the special interest group on terminology of the Localization Industry Standards Association (LISA) and the workgroup on translation quality of the German Association of Technical Communicators (tekom). In addition to publishing regularly on translation quality and technology, he has given presentations at a number of international conferences and taught translation management and technology at post-graduate institutions such as the Monterey Institute of International Studies and Internationales Hochschulinstitut Lindau.
